Six unique guest rooms are tastefully decorated, all with private bathrooms, some with two person whirlpools and private second floor balconies. Choice of rooms with king, queen or two double beds. WI-FI, secure indoor bike storage, complimentary beverages upon check-in include wine, beer, iced/hot tea, coffee, soda pop. All rooms are air conditioned and heated, most with individually-controlled thermostats. Comfortable, well-lit, seating areas are perfect for relaxing or reading a book. Comfortable beds and linens ensure a restful night’s sleep all year long.
All rooms include a full, hearty breakfast, served family-style in the dining room at 8:30 a.m., except the Carriage House, which has a slightly modified, hot breakfast brought to the room each morning. Nancy and Dave love to cook, and the Habberstad House takes pride in serving a full breakfast, family style, in our dining room each morning. You will not leave the table hungry! We strive to use the freshest locally grown and often organic ingredients whenever possible. A typical breakfast includes coffee and tea, juice, a fresh fruit, home-made dessert-type baked item like a filled crepe or cranberry cake with warmed butter sayce, or carrot cake or lpound cake with home- made salted vanilla ice cream and a swirl of chocolate sauce, then an entree, such as a Dutch apple pannekoeken and bacon or savory cheddar cheese and ham waffle served with Scotch eggs, or a crepe-style omelet served with sausage and hash browns.
Complimentary Wine and Cheese Reception during 4-6 p.m. check-in on Fridays, May – October. We also offer a full concierge service for dinner, discounted tickets to the Commonweal Theatre Company, and assist with arranging Amish Tours and other area activities. Brochures for dining, theatre, and local activities are located in the foyer.
