Rose Suite

The Rose Suite is a facing west, this two-room suite has bay windows, a queen bed and an adjoining reading room, with two recliners for reading and relaxing. In addition, the room has its own private porch where you can enjoy the afternoon breeze and watch the birds at the fountain or on the feeders in the yard. Decorated in rich Queen Anne cherry furniture, this charming suite offers a private bathroom with a shower.

The sitting room was originally Mr. Habberstad’s private study. In later years when the house was a hospital, the bathroom was a medication dispensing room, while the bedroom and study served as the hospital baby nursery and labor/delivery room

Rose Suite Guest Review
"This concludes our 5th trip to Lanesboro and to the Habberstad House. We always come for a week each time and find that it is scarecely enough. For the first time we biked over 200 miles – what a treasure this area is! We appreciate Nancy and Dave more each time….and we are booking our next stay today ….before we leave. Thanks for everything!"

"What a beautiful room and home. It easily lives up to the picture in the B&B booklet and on the internet. Thanks for making all our reservations – that certainly made this a real mini-vacation. The family breakfast was fantastic."
