Plan a relaxing retreat at the Habberstad House Bed and Breakfast, located in Lanesboro, in Southeastern Minnesota’s historic Bluff Country along the Root River.
Built in 1897, this beautiful Queen Anne Victorian home has welcoming parlors, a dining room with a view of the gardens, and five guest rooms, all with private bathrooms. Or choose our private Carriage House, with its king bed, fireplace and spa bathroom. The beautiful landscaped yard includes a fountain and pond, flower gardens and numerous seating areas.
We offer a two-course breakfast each day, complimentary beverage at check-in; secure bike storage, Wi-Fi and central air conditioning. We are licensed by the State of Minnesota and the City of Lanesboro.
2017 Season Notes
We are opening for the 2017 season in February, just in time for Valentine’s Day. February 10 is our first available booking in February. We will be open mainly on weekends until Spring returns, the bike trail opens and the Commonweal Theatre starts its new season. However, don’t hesitate to call to see if we are available for your special occasion. Also, if you are planning to come to the Smithsonian Waterways exhibit here in Lanesboro, we will be open for accommodations from Feb. 10 through the 19th.
We look forward to seeing you in 2017.
